Benefits Verification & Coverage Clarification

Copays, coinsurance, and annual deductibles are determined entirely by your specific insurance policy. Huddle & Heal's billing system verifies eligibility before your first appointment, but we always encourage clients to call the member services number on the back of their insurance card to confirm outpatient mental health telehealth coverage, deductible status, and any applicable copay amounts.

Self-Pay & Professional Services Rates

Transparent investment options for individual therapy, clinical supervision, and professional consultation.

INDIVIDUAL THERAPY

Out-of-Pocket Therapy (Self-Pay)

$125 / session

Standard 50–55 minute individual teletherapy session (Trauma/EMDR, Grief, or Addiction Recovery). Ideal for clients utilizing out-of-network benefits, HSA/FSA cards, or those prioritizing maximum confidentiality without insurance diagnostic billing.

PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT

Clinical Supervision

$75 / hour

Formal clinical supervision hours for post-graduate counselors and clinicians pursuing professional licensure.

CONSULTING & SPECIALTIES

Professional Consultation

$25 / hour

Specialized clinical and organizational consultation regarding EMDR integration, addiction frameworks, or trauma-informed program development.

Cancellation & Attendance Policy

Clear expectations designed to protect your therapeutic consistency and maintain practice availability.

24-Hour Notice Window

Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance of your scheduled appointment time.

Late Cancellation / No-Show Fee

A flat fee of $75 is charged for missed appointments or cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice.

A Compassionate Note on Scheduling

Therapy requires dedicated scheduling and intentional preparation. When an appointment is missed without sufficient notice, that reserved hour cannot be offered to another client who may be waiting for care. We appreciate your consideration and mutual respect for scheduled time.

Your Right to a Good Faith Estimate (No Surprises Act)

Under Section 2799B-6 of the Public Health Service Act, healthcare providers are required to provide uninsured or self-pay clients with an estimate of the expected charges for non-emergency medical items and services, including psychotherapy.

  • Upfront Cost Clarity: Clients paying out-of-pocket have the right to receive a written Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare service prior to receiving care.
  • Timely Delivery: Emily provides this estimate upon intake before your first session begins, as well as upon request at any time during your therapeutic journey.
  • Dispute Protections: If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, federal law allows you to dispute the bill. Be sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
